The Repair Costs On The Poweredge Servers Were High

The only way that I can justify paying the high costs of the dell repair company is if they guarantee their work. I have seen too many different repair shops fix something and then get conveniently called back the following week for the same thing. They have no problem charging for the extra service but they should actually owe you for that fact that they have to fix it twice.
I had this happen too many times with our company’s poweredge servers. I think that we must have called the dell repair company at least five different times in two weeks, for the same problem. Each time that he would come, he would say, I think I got it this time and then charge us an outrageous amount of money again.
I solved the problem of being overcharged for repairs by buying some new servers that came with a ten year warranty. Anytime that I have had problems with them, I just call the store and they send someone out to fix it. I made sure that the deductible fee was very low and I do not have a problem with paying for that every time. I would recommend to anyone who has a lot of computer equipment to make sure that everything you buy has a warranty with it.
