It’s been a month since my sister’s so-called wedding. Oh well, there was no wedding really. The guy left her standing on the altar alone when his lover showed up on the middle of the ceremony. And to add more damage to the situation, the lover was a guy too. She has been with him for 4 years and she never, not once saw any indications that he was gay. Poor her!

But going back; that day after one month, I saw her glowing and very happy. She told me to dress up and we’d go to the city to shop and be pretty - those were her words. We did, actually. She bought new clothes, new shoes, designer bags and we paid extra in the salon because we went in without an appointment and she was fine with it. I asked her why all the spending splurge?
