When the house next door went up for sale, I knew that it would be hard to find a buyer for it. It needed some work done on the inside and out before it would be restored to what it used to look like. I could see from my kitchen window that the deck was in need of some serious deck restoration and the front yard had brick pavers all down the walkway that needed to be tended to.

The first couple of times that there were showings, you could see that the people always were pointing out the deck and that it needed to have a brick paver restoration job to be done. I really felt bad for the real estate agents who were taking their time out, to show this house that was in poor condition to people who could not see the potential in it. This particular house was really a beautiful house at one time and it was just neglected by the old owners.

Then one day, I noticed a sold sign on the real estate sign in front of the house that was next door. Thirty days after that, there were all kinds of contractors at that house working their magic on the inside and out to make it what it used to be. A really great family moved in about sixty days after that, and they take real good care of the house now.

I just bought the hippest Hogan shoes for my goddaughter. She had been shopping with me last week and saw them in a store window. She did not ask me to buy them, she only made the comment that she thought they were really neat. I made a note to myself, to come back right before school started to get them for her.

Well school starts in two days, and I had to come and return the Prada purse that I had bought anyway. The Prada purse needed to be returned because it had a hole in the lining that I did not see when I made the purchase last week.

I was not sure of my goddaughters shoe size so I called and asked her mother. She told me that she wore a size six. I told her not to tell her about the surprise of the Hogan shoes and that I would be at their house very shortly after leaving the mall. She told me that her daughter had been trying to get her to go back to the mall and get the shoes all week, so she knew that she would absolutely love them.

When I got to my goddaughters house, I rang the doorbell and she answered, when she saw the bag I had in my hands, she started screaming. I told her that I had to return the Prada purse anyway, and then decided to just pick up the Hogan shoes.

I wanted to get new replacement windows put in our house that I was renting to my brother. I called a Chicago replacement windows company and asked them if they could meet me at the home to give me an estimate. My brother came out when we got there and was asking questions about how long it would take and if he had to leave when they were putting in the replacement windows.

The Chicago replacement windows company salesman told him that if he wanted to stay home while they were doing the work, then that would be fine. Every job is different but as long as they did not encounter any problems then that should be the amount of time for this job also.

My brother decided to stay at the home while the put the windows in and he even learned a thing or two from watching them install them. I think he thought it would be a big inconvenience but it was not that bad after all he told me later. The house will be more energy efficient now and it looks like a different house.
